The Story of Hornick, 1887 - 1987, published 1987, was an inspiration to me, with the biography of Lemuel and Harriett Burns on pages 89 - 90, and sketches of four of their sons and their families on pages 90 - 93. In particular, the account of Lemuel Burns' Civil War service inspired me to dig further to find more details of his experiences.
